This data compiles infrastructure investment needs in five sectors and six world regions, for three spending scenarios that vary in terms of ambition and efficiency in infrastructure service delivery. It distinguishes between new capital investment and maintenance, and provides data in 2015 US dollars and in percent of regions' GDP. Please refer to Rozenberg, Julie, and Marianne Fay, eds. 2019. Beyond the Gap: How Countries Can Afford the Infrastructure They Need While Protecting the Planet, Sustainable Infrastructure Series (Washington, DC: World Bank) for a detailed description.
