The FinScope survey tool was developed by FinMark Trust as a nationally representative survey of consumer perceptions about financial services and issues. FinScope provides insights into how people source their income and manage their financial lives. It looks at the use of, and demand for, financial services as well as attitudes, vulnerability, coping behavior and consumption patterns. By exploring the use of informal as well as formal financial products, FinScope aims to create a picture of the role that the formal and informal sectors play in a country's financial market.

The FinScope Zambia 2015 was implemented with the following objectives: To track overall trends in financial inclusion over time in terms of: • Changes in the levels of inclusion - both formal and informal inclusion • Changes in terms of the type of financial service providers and the type of financial services being used • To assess whether Zambia is on track in terms of achieving national financial inclusion

This product provides information on the actual evapotranspiration (ET) on a coarse scale for the entire African Horn on the daily scale. The estimates are based on data from the Meteosat Second Generation SEVIRI sensor as well as some ancillary meteorological data. The ET estimates are produced by the Land Surface Analysis – Satellite Application Facility (LSA SAF) hosted at the Portuguese Met-service.
