This spatially explicit index is an indicator of crop performance based on the availability of water to the crop during a growing season. Range of WRSI values: < 50: Failure; 50–60: Poor; 60–80: Mediocre; 80–95: Average; 95–99: Good; 99–100: Very Good; 0: N/A.
