Gridded Global Administrative Areas (GADM) at uniform grid resolution of 0.05° by 0.05° used in Gascoigne et al. (2024).
GADM is a database of the location of the world's administrative areas (boundaries). Administrative areas in this database include countries, counties, departments, etc. (Admin0-Admin6). The lowest level differs by country. For each area some attributes are provided, including the name and in some cases variant names.
