Gridded dekadal precipitation at uniform grid resolution of 0.05° by 0.05° from 2000 to 2020 used in Gascoigne et al. (2024).
The data come from Climate Hazards Group InfraRed Precipitation with Station (CHIRPS) data archive which is a quasi-global (50S–50N) gridded 0.05° resolution times series covering precipitation from 1981 to near-real time.
The CHIRPS dataset documentation can be found at: Funk, C.C., P. J. Peterson, M. F. Landsfeld, D. H. Pedreros, J. P. Verdin, J. D. Rowland, B. E. Romero, G. J. Husak, J. C. Michaelsen, and A. P.
