The Multi-Sector Needs Assessment (MSNA) in Hungary is a regional interagency multi-sectoral assessment, seeking to capture and understand the needs of refugees in Hungary (focusing on the in-country refugee population), the level of access to basic services (and how refugees’ needs are met) as well as service gaps and refugees’ priorities for the coming year. As such, it is a key source of information for response planning. The 2023 assessment was carried out with refugees from Ukraine from June and August 2023. The fieldwork was carried out by TARKI Social Research Instiute (Hungary) and IOM. The assessment included a household and individual-level structured questionnaire. Households were purposively selected, with stratification by geographic area and accomodation type (inside or outside of collective sites.
