This data was collected for a randomized controlled trial evaluating the impact of offering a large, individual-liability, uncollateralized microfinance loan to female business owners in Ethiopia, using psychometric credit scoring technology as a substitute for fixed-asset collateral requirements. This study partnered with the Ethiopian MFI Wasasa to trial a psychometric loan appraisal technology that predicts repayment likelihood. A total of 357 women completed the psychometric test and baseline survey between April 2018-March 2020 and 324 (of the 357) women completed the endline survey in September 2021.
