UNHCR continuously collects data on incidents for protection monitoring in the Central African Republic as the lead in the protection cluster. This dataset contains incidents reported on victims in 12 of the 15 prefectures of the Central African Republic through the year 2021. Protection incidents were continuously collected through the year by UNHCR partners INTERSOS and COOPI, leveraging their network of community relay and protection committees across the 12 prefectures. A total of 6499 incidents allegedly perpetrated on individuals from January to December 2021 are recorded in this dataset.
