As part of the “Geospatial Assessment of Women Employment and Business Opportunities in the Energy Sector” project, open-source Gender-related spatial data was collected for 31 Small Island Developing States (SIDS) across the globe, resulting in curated and thoroughly documented geodatabases (GDBs) that are now ready to be explored! 
Fifty-nine spatial layers were identified and then researched for each country, covering the following categories: Demographics and Population | Renewable Energy | Energy Access | Education | Jobs and Finance | Digital Inclusion | Transportation | Safety | Amenities | Climate/Earth | Law/Policy/Government. 


However, not every country GDB contains all 59 data layers, as this was dependent on the availability of open-source data in each SIDS. Users are encouraged to check the accompanying metadata excel file for more information on the datasets in each GDB, the vintage, and the

Cambodia

The primary objective of the Cambodia National Health Survey is to provide the Ministry of Health with reliable, population-based, nationally representative data or infant/child mortality, fertility, and related health service indicators. A secondary objective was to provide the ADB-financed Basic Helath Services Project (BHSP) and the World Bank finaced Cambodia Disease Control and Health Development Project (CDCP) with baseline information about their respective Project areas, against which project impact could later be assessed.

Interim Demographic and Health Survey

Cambodia - National Health Survey 1998

Series Name: Demographic and Health Survey (Special) - DHS III Series Info: The Cambodian National Health Survey (NHS) is a nationally representative survey of women age 15-49. Funding for the survey was primarily provided by the ADB Basic Health Services Project, loan number 1447-CAM. Additional support , particularly for field data collection in provinces not included in the ADB and World Bank financed projects, was provided by the Cambodia-German Health Project funded by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ). The NHS was conducted under the auspices of the Ministry of Health National Institute of Public Health (NIPH). A Technical Steering Committee was formed by the NIPH, with MOH approval, to oversee all technical aspects of the undertaking. It was composed of representatives from the MOH, NIPH, and technical exports from various donor agencies involved in the health sector, including WHO, UNICEF, the ADB, the World Bank, GTZ, USAID and UNFPA. Technical assistance in the sample design, survey methodology, interviewer training, data processing and analysis was provided by Macro International under contract with the Ministry of Health. Field data collection was carried out in 15 Provinces by an NGO, SAWA-Cambodia, under contract with the Ministry of Health. Data collection on the country's remaining Provinces was carried out directly by the NIPH. Training of both NIPH and SAWA-Cambodia field staff (interviewers, supervisors, etc.) was conducted jointly to ensure uniformity of procedures.
