The GIS database has been developed under the project "Renewable Energy Mapping: Small Hydro Tanzania". This study is part of a technical assistance project, ESMAP funded, being implemented by Africa Energy Practice of the World Bank in Tanzania which aims at supporting resource mapping and geospatial planning for small hydro.
