This dataset is for an area from Vanuatu to Samoa between 2007 and 2012, mapping meteorologic and oceaonographic conditions.
Meteorologic parameters include: Hurricanes, wave heights, air temperature, and wind fields.
Oceanographic parameters include: Chlorophyll-a concentration of case 1 and 2 waters (CHL), total suspended matter (TSM), water transparency, sea surface temperature.
Yearly averages and seasonal averages are considered. Wet season is considered from November to April, dry season is considered from May to October. Maps highlight the possible link between Funafuti conditions and the wider meteorological and oceanographic environment. Meteorological information is delivered in PNG format.

This dataset is one of the products produced under the 2014-2016 World Bank (WBG) - European Space Agency (ESA) partnership, and is published in the partnership report: Earth Observation for Sustainable Development, June 2016.
