The rankings are determined by sorting the aggregate scores (formerly called distance to frontier) on 10 topics, each consisting of several indicators, giving equal weight to each topic. The World Bank EdStats All Indicator Query holds over 4,000 internationally comparable indicators that describe education access, progression, completion, literacy, teachers, population, and expenditures.
